My Uncle Tim passed away on March 26, 2009. Tim had always been a very close part of my life. His father died when he was 5 years old and his mother died when he was 13. He lived with his brother Calvin for awhile, then with us, then with Aunt Tiny and on and on until he was old enough to get out on his own I guess. Tim loved to camp in the Manti mountains and bring his boys, then his grandson, T.J., and go fishing, hunting, and at one time the boys all had motorcycles to ride. We always tried to spend time with Tim and his family when we could. We camped with them many times, just went up for a meal or two other times when they were here. Losing Tim will leave a big hole in a lot of lives. I just wanted to share some of my memories of him with you so you can celebrate his life with me. Thanks for listening.

So Kristy tells me that I must update my Blog--since I started it a long time ago and than have done nothing with it....so now i am trying to figure out how to do this. She may have to come visit so she can train me.....i'm not good at learning new things any more.

Things are going along nicely at this time in our lives. I see the cancer Doctors again in March. It has been 5 years and so far so good!! I just keep plugging along and doing my thing and forget in between the 6 month doctor appointments that I have a cancer history. Okay so that is not true, i'm reminded everytime I shower and get dressed. But I am feeling good and I do not worry about it.

I am looking forward to spring and summer so I can start riding again. We are planning to do the Livestrong Challenge in Seattle this year and it will be in June. So that doesn't give me much time to get in shape. I had the opportunity to take my bike to St. George a couple weekends ago and ride down there where it was warmer---it felt so great to be riding again. I just wish I had had the time to do more riding.

Well I will try to keep things up-to-date on me and my family. But don't count on too much.

So getting this thing started is harder than I thought.......
